BAPE L.A.

This is the second U.S. store (after N.Y.) of the Japanese brand BAPE® located at 8001 Melrose Avenue in L.A. As you can see, and possibly imagine, the store design looks very eye-catching, especially at night. Inside, a huge glass cylinder, sneakers revolve on conveyer belts. In addition to Japan, BAPE stores exist in Hong Kong, Paris and London, and now two in the U.S.(NY and LA)This L.A. store looks soo cool.

Marvel Comics | Barack Obama x The Amazing Spider-Man

With the inauguration of our 44th President of the United States Barack Obama a few days away, Marvel comics announced that they will launch a very special edition of The Amazing Spider-man issue #583 to to celebrate. This issue will have the superhero thwarting the plans of his nemesis, Chameleon, on January 20th, saving President Obama’s inauguration. The issue will also include a special cover with both men. According to Joe Quesada, the Editor-in-Chief at Marvel, the idea for the mash-up issue came about when they found out Obama was a fan of the title during his childhood. The Amazing Spider-Man Issue #583 will be available across the U.S. on Wednesday, January 14th.
